Classic Mahogany Breakfront

Custom made in 1982, and faithful to the 18th Century Georgian III design, this stately breakfront cabinet offers both storage and display capabilities. The lower cabinet is raised on a plinth base, and features eight individual drawers that flank either side of two molded center doors with flame mahogany panels. Behind these doors is a large two-shelf space to hold larger, taller items. 

The upper cabinet offers glazed, beveled glass doors below a dentil frieze cornice topped with the third piece, a removable  broken pediment. Glass shelves in the top section display books, collectibles and/or valuable dinnerware, under dimmable lighting. 

This is a superb replica of English Georgian furniture, with authentic presence and proportions. Overall my cabinet is in good condition, wear consistent with age and use as shown:
